Founded on October 28, 2017, The Restoration was established as more than an organization — it was conceived as a 32-year blueprint for generational transformation. Built in three strategic phases, this plan is intentionally designed to build, secure, and transfer a global infrastructure that empowers African Americans and African descendants now and long into the future.
Rather than responding to crises as they appear, The Restoration takes a proactive, multigenerational approach. We are constructing systems, assets, partnerships, and protections that will continue growing, adapting, and benefiting communities even after today’s supporters are gone.
At the heart of our mission lies one conviction: true progress must be inherited — not restarted every generation.
Our work is rooted in legacy-building. We aim to create:
Economic frameworks capable of producing wealth, not just consuming it
Social networks and alliances that uplift instead of isolate
Land-based and institutional assets that cannot be erased
Structures of leadership prepared to steward what is built
This is not charity — it is architecting the future. We are building a foundation strong enough to sustain growth, support communities, shift narratives, and inspire future leaders well into and beyond the next century. The Restoration belongs not just to those living today, but to those we may never meet — the children, descendants, and visionaries who will walk further because we chose to build now.
We plant seeds knowing that we may not harvest the fruit — but confident that someone will.
Develop a globally viable, multi-billion-dollar investment portfolio that includes acquiring, owning, and developing strategically located land. This land-based and financial foundation forms the economic backbone for future generations.
We strengthen the collective HEART of our global community by uniting individuals, organizations, HBCUs, agencies, businesses, and allies committed to developing tomorrow’s generation. Our focus spans:
Health
Emboldening
Advocacy
Real Estate
Technology
Security
Through collaboration and shared purpose, we build a robust network that supports advancement and long-term success.
In 2050, we will transfer the structures, safeguards, and resources we’ve built to a better-prepared generation of leaders. They will expand this work and pass it forward again in 2100 — establishing an ongoing legacy of restoration, empowerment, and growth.

To begin today — not tomorrow — rebuilding, restoring, and recording a powerful new history for African Americans and African descendants. A history that will be proudly read, shared, and celebrated well into and beyond the year 2246.
For generations, we have repeated conversations about the need for equity, opportunity, security, and progress. The Restoration is committed to ensuring that our children’s children will NOT have the same conversations we’ve had. They will inherit not just hope — but tangible resources, structures, and pathways to greatness.
To safeguard our future, we hold a simple but profound vow:
“We will NOT eat from the seed we plant today.”
We sow for tomorrow.
We build for the next generation.
We restore for the future.
